Job summary

Main duties of the job

o To process requests for Appeals and PUPOC reviews which includes sending out documentation, verifying appellants ID, requesting patient records and sorting of those records ahead of the Clinical Review. o Processing of outcomes following completion of reviews: checking & formatting and sending to appellant.o Admin Support to Appeals Team Panels. Sending meeting confirmations & requests. Minuting panel meetings. o Dealing with email and telephone enquiries regarding the Appeal and PUPOC processes and progress with reviews.

  • Educated to NVQ 3 level in a relevant subject or equivalent level of qualification or significant equivalent previous proven experience.
  • Significant administrative experience including initiating and maintaining office systems.
  • Demonstrable experience in dealing with the public and dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
  • Intermediate knowledge of IT systems and software programmes such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
