  • able to work in a predominately remote environment with occasional travel to our office in Woking

Main duties of the job

Provide a dual Employee Relations and Business Partnering service, to designated Directorates within Surrey Heartlands ICB.

Support and provide advice to managers on a range of HR issues including, but not limited to; Departmental Change Management, and individual employee relations issues such as Discipline, Grievance Management, Poor Performance, Attendance Management and Flexible Working Applications.

Develop the skill and capacity of managers to enable them to manage people issues effectively and independently.

As a member of the HR Team, play a key role in supporting the review and development of workforce policies, procedures, tools, training, and quality improvement systems.

Work with the wider People Directorate to create a high performing, inclusive culture, to continually improve service to the business, positively influencing the reputation of the HR team and People Directorate within the organisation.

Apply a combination of HR management and technical skills to develop and deliver a professional and effective service which meets the organisations requirements.

This role is hybrid, and you will be required to spend some of your working time at our lovely new office location at Dukes Court, Woking and some from home. We are open to pre-agreed flexible start and end times worked within each week. However, as this position is hybrid and you will be required to provide some on site support the team, this will be by prior agreement only and subject to change.
