North East London ICB is seeking a Director to lead the development of the Newham Place Based Partnership and to drive delivery of its strategic objectives.
This is an exciting role charged with leading local health and care system partners into an accelerated phase of care transformation, integration, and service improvement for the residents of Newham whilst leading at a system level for north east London on dedicated objectives.
The Newham Place-based partnership reflects a broad clinical and care community and comprises the London Borough of Newham, Newham University Hospital part of Barts Health, East London Foundation NHS Trust, primary care, representation from the voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise sector and HealthWatch and the Integrated Care Board and takes responsibility for:o working with local residents and communities to improve their health and wellbeing,o responding to rapid and significant population growtho addressing longstanding inequalities,o delivering high quality, integrated and sustainable health, care and wider partnership support for local residents in their neighbourhoods ando addressing financial challenges in sustainable ways

Main duties of the job
The Director of Partnerships, Impact and Delivery will be responsible for supporting the Place-based partnership to deliver a focused programme of work to improve the health and wellbeing outcomes of people living in Newham. This will cover short-term interventions as well as the delivery of longer- term strategic priorities. The role will also require the postholder to play a key part in programmes of work across NEL ICS led by NEL ICB.
The Newham PBP is one of seven PBPs within the North East London Integrated Care System and reflects the ambition of NEL ICS to work with Places to ensure we make a reality of joined-up and integrated care which responds to the specific health and care needs of local communities.
