Job summary
This role can be offered as a Secondment or Fixed Term Contract, to end on 31.03.2025.
The Screening, Immunisation and Vaccination team plays an instrumental part in supporting vaccination uptake in North East London, working as a local delivery partner with NHSE (as commissioner). Main duties of the job
We are recruiting two programme managers to support the co-ordination and delivery of national vaccination programmes. The role has been devised in the context of a clearly defined set of roles and responsibilities for the leadership and co-ordination of vaccination programmes that sit within the central NHS North East London Screening, Immunisation and ImmunisationVaccination Team. The approach also recognises that Place Based Partnerships and other NEL ICB team members will also have their own roles and responsibilities linked to leadership and accountability of delivering specific vaccination programmes in NE London. As such, you will work closely with NEL ICS teams and stakeholders from across primary, secondary, community, and social care, as well as wider stakeholders and the community to deliver improvements in outcomes for patients/ residents. The work will also involve collaborating with national and regional NHSE teams.
The post holder will need to build subject matter expertise and technical skills to develop a robust planning and service delivery.
