The Primary Care directorate is looking for a proactive individual to undertake the role of Quality Improvement Programme Manager in the EQUIP Team, within the NHS NEL ICB.
In April 2017 the EQUIP Team rolled out this innovative QI programme to 35 practices in Tower Hamlets. In 2023, the programme supports +250 practices across North East London. Based at Unex Tower, the programme team is looking for a Programme manager to join as a core member of our operational team to support the development and delivery of the programme. The EQUIP programme supports practices to address the real challenges they face today, so that they are ready to thrive in the future. The programme aims are to increase both patient and staff satisfaction through a focus on process management, perceived functionality, and better resource deployment. The figure below describes the scope and gives an overview on how the programme delivery has been designed to deliver the expected outcomes.
Main duties of the job
The programme manager will provide a vital role in supporting the programme and will act as the main point of contact for the programme, support the programme day to day delivery, co-ordinate the activity of project team members and contributors ensuring that tasks and work streams are completed satisfactorily and on schedule, monitor and report on programme progress and outcomes, resolving issues and initiating corrective actions as appropriate and line manage the administrator and project support officer or other staff as appropriate
