Job summary
NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) is the name given to a package of care that is arranged and funded solely by the NHS for individuals who are not in hospital, but who have complex ongoing healthcare needs.
Main duties of the job
This dynamic role that sits within the All Age Continuing Healthcare Administration Team (AACC). The role will operate within a fast paced, supportive environment where the patient is at the centre of everything we do. The team are looking for a self-motivated, organised, driven candidate, able to adapt and cope with changing demands. The Administrator will support the Administration Leads and Business Operational Managers to provide a modern, effective, and customer-focused administration service. The post-holder will process AACC referrals through the eligibility process. The team act as a point of contact for the department, triaging enquiries, dealing with routine and specialist queries in a friendly and professional manner.
