Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic project support officer with excellent organisational skills to join the Transformation and Delivery Team of the ICB based in Barnsley.
The Transformation and Delivery Team in Barnsley supports the ICB and partners to deliver our ambitions as set out within the Barnsley Health and Care Plan alongside the broader ambitions of South Yorkshire ICB.
The Project Support Officer will work as part of the transformation, delivery and improvement team delivering an effective project and business support service; providing efficient and effective administrative project support to the team.
You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to organise and prioritise workflow, you will be proficient in scheduling and managing a variety of tasks with competing deadlines. A key element of this role is engaging with stakeholders across the place partnership therefore having good interpersonal skills is essential.
This is an excellent role for someone wishing to gain experience working within project management to develop their skills and knowledge should they wish to progress into project management in the future.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will support the delivery of specific work streams and programmes; the below are examples of the areas of work this will include but will not be limited to:
- Supporting the transformation work streams across ICB Place
- Providing support and assisting with the completion of timely project management documentation.
- Supporting meetings that are in place as part of programme governance arrangements.
- Other business support arrangements such as organising events and meetings, booking rooms, coordination of Freedom of Information Requests that require a response from the team etc
- Supporting the Transformation & Delivery team with Quality, Service Improvement and Redesign (QSIR)
