and Young People Keyworker Service Manager, overseeing high-quality and
effective approaches to support children and young people (CYP) with learning
disabilities and autism, along with their families in South Yorkshire. In
this dynamic position, you will lead and manage staff, resources, and
projects to deliver optimal outcomes.

looking for a passionate, focussed and driven candidate for this highly
visible leadership role which spans the South Yorkshire system and various
statutory and community multi-agency services. As a key player, you'll tackle
barriers hindering key working functions, challenging the system when
necessary, and driving positive change.

Location/Base: One of the 4 NHS South
Yorkshire Bases (Hilder House: Barnsley, Sovereign House: Doncaster, Oak House:
Rotherham or 722 Darnell: Sheffield), with regular travel across South Yorkshire
and including hybrid arrangements working from home.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an experienced clinical professional with
significant experience of working in the Learning Disability and Autism field. The candidate will have experience of
working at a strategic level and working across complex systems such as
Integrated Care Systems or at Regional/National levels.
The successful candidate will have experience of delivering service
improvement and/or service implementation and have a strong understanding of
programme management. You will be
responsible for implementing the expansion plan for the service including
developing new systems and processes including implementing a robust system
to measure progress and impact of the service.
The candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to
manage a team operating as a hub and spoke model.
The role involves embedding a culture that prioritises keeping CYP
within their homes and local communities. Collaboration with diverse teams
and services at a strategic level will be crucial to implementing the most
suitable solutions for a positive impact on CYP and their families.

- Provide day-to-day line management for the overall team undertaking Personal Development Reviews and managing any employee relations issues.
- Provide strategic leadership and direct management in a senior position to shape and develop services across a range of functions to achieve the best possible outcomes for children, young people and their families.
- Ensure the active participation of children, young people and parents/carers in service planning and delivery as appropriate and use feedback to inform service delivery and staff development.
- Communicate, engage and build relationships with key stakeholders to ensure the C&YP Keyworker service is embedded across the system and aligns with the wider health, education and social care system.
- Provide advice and guidance across the system on specific subject matter areas relating to the role that relate to national policy and best practice to delivery across multiple health and social care systems.
- Manage and communicate highly complex, sensitive and sometimes contentious information to a range of stakeholders including senior management and executive level across the system and regional and national teams as appropriate.
- Responsible for developing key performance indicators to measure the ongoing success and impact of the service.
- Lead continuous service improvement and ensure high quality and consistent services are delivered in compliance with plans for future service development.
