Job summary
There are 3 positions available each working 1x session per week (3 hours).
1 x South Yorkshire, 1
x West Yorkshire and 1 x Humber & North Yorkshire.
We
are seeking a highly effective and experienced Clinical Advisor for Community
Pharmacy to provide advice and support to the ICB in relation to the
development and provision of Pharmaceutical Services delivered by local
Pharmacy.
The successful appointee will provide credible,
effective and objective professional clinical advice to the SY Primary Care
team, and community pharmacy providers as required, on the delivery of the
functions delegated to the ICB by NHS England for pharmaceutical services, in
line with the National Health Service (Pharmaceutical and Local Pharmaceutical
Services) Regulations.
NHS SY ICB is subject to a period of organisational change following the announcement of a requirement to significantly reduce in size. At this time preferential interviews will be given to internal candidates in the first instance for posts deemed critical for business continuity. Currently this post is considered to be critical. However, it may be impacted by pending organisational change. Candidates are advised that if successful they will be included in a consultation process regarding the future form of the ICB. The role supports the business in driving transformation as
well as value for money in planning, commissioning and service redesign.
The successful appointee will work in a collaborative and
integrated way and prioritise active participation in community pharmacy
visits, contractual and quality assurance inspections.
