Job summary

This post is for a Data Analyst to join a progressive and innovative Data and Insights team within South Yorkshire Integrated Care Board.

We are looking to recruit a Band 6 analyst who is passionate about data and making a difference to the lives of our patients and ensuring the organisation makes good data driven decisions.

This role is one of four Band 6 analysts who each lead on a portfolio area and provide subject matter expertise into our projects and products.

We welcome candidates who have an interest or expertise in performance level corporate reporting and/or have a good grasp of key NHS datasets (SUS, RTT, ERS etc ). We expect candidates to have a range of technical skills to analyse and present data.

This post will include responsibility for line management of an Associate Data analyst and will work alongside other members of the team to create and deliver insights as required as part of our Data and Insights Strategy.

Main duties of the job

This role will expose you to a wide number of datasets and technical tools as well as various partners across different organisations including Public Health, Secondary care, Primary Care and Community and many more working to improve the lives and health of the people of South Yorkshire.

The role is 37.5 hours and will involve a hybrid working model with time spent at our Eyre Street site in Sheffield, home working and may include travel to our sites across South Yorkshire in Barnsley, Rotherham, and Doncaster or external meetings at our partner sites.

We work alongside all these colleagues through local councils, our VCSE partners and other partners to address health inequalities and wider determinants of health in South Yorkshire.
