Job summary

This is an exciting new role for the NHS Lincolnshire CCG to support the System wide cancer team in the delivery of the NHS Long term Plan.

Whilst this is not a clinical role, the emphasis will be on enhancing the delivery of services that are clinical.

Therefore, the post holder will be required to communicate and engage clinical and non-clinical staff at all levels.

Main duties of the job

The Cancer Project Manager's role is part of the Lincolnshire Cancer Team and will work across Lincolnshire ICS footprint, project managing a broad range of cancer improvement projects that include areas such as Cancer Performance, Population coverage for all Lincolnshire patients, pathway improvement work within the acute Trusts, reducing demand on secondary care services, improving access to services within the local community, supporting the system to deliver innovative new ways of working to support patients with cancer.
