Job summary
NHS Nottingham and Nottinghamshire ICB are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and efficient administrator to provide and coordinate a comprehensive and effective range of administrative support to the Mid Nottinghamshire NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) delivery team. This role will be on a fixed-term basis until April 2024.
The job location will be the Ashfield Health and Well-Being Centre in Kirkby-in-Ashfield. The working hours will be from 9 am to 5 pm three days a week. Out of these three days, you must work on Mondays and Fridays, but the third day can be flexible. There will be a need to work in the office for part of the week or all if preferred.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will have excellent organisational skills, be a strong communicator, be able to act on their initiative, adapt to new situations, and enjoy working in and contributing to the work of a fast-paced, high-performing operational team. Applicants must have significant recent administrative experience, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Systems databases.
You will need to have a strong background in administration, and while we don't expect that you will have had previous experience with NHS Continuing Healthcare and Funded Nursing Care, having these would be an advantage. You must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written skills and proficient IT skills. A flexible approach to work is required, with an ability to prioritise and manage workloads and work as part of a team and under your initiative.

The Mid Nottinghamshire CHC delivery team supports the facilitation of CHC services in Mansfield, Ashfield, Newark and Sherwood. Staff working within the ICB are expected to have strong links with internal and external teams across this patch and the wider ICS. Currently, the ICB are operating a hybrid working model, allowing a mix of office and home working to support colleagues to achieve a better work/life balance.
