Job summary

Working as part of the Herefordshire & Worcestershire ICB Digital, Data, Analytics & Technology Team, we are looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Project Support Officer to join our team to provide comprehensive support to the team and our efforts to deliver key digital and technology programmes and projects across the local health system.

This role is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team committed to supporting colleagues through high quality administrative provision. The successful candidate will need to be highly motivated, flexible and multi-skilled with excellent organisational skills and the ability to communicate and work effectively within a team.

Main duties of the job

The postholder will be providing important administrative support to the management team, as well as tasks assigned by programme and project managers to help with the delivery of key areas of work.

Experience of range of administrative processes would be an advantage, including diary coordination, working to deadlines, meeting arrangements and minute/note taking.

Good organisational skills are imperative and the ability to multi-task and work with a variety of systems and applications efficiently. Communication skills must be professional, discreet and of a high quality, both verbally and in writing, as the role requires regular contact and discussion with colleagues at all levels.

Effectively manage delegated aspects of projects. The post holder will be responsible for overseeing delegated activities and will need to ensure that they are delivered in line with project timescales.

The post-holder will often be the first point of contact for senior managers, external agencies, other stakeholders, etc. This will require the post-holder to communicate effectively using a variety of methods; orally, written form and electronically with a range of people.
