Main duties of the job

As a Business and Project Support Officer, you will be a key contributor to multiple strategic projects within the Strategy, Integration, and Health Inequalities team. You'll manage administrative tasks such as diary management, procurement, and meeting coordination, ensuring the seamless operation of high-impact health initiatives, including the WorkWell programme. Your role will involve handling data collection, supporting project reporting, and maintaining accurate records. You'll also play a vital part in organising internal and external events, facilitating communications across teams, and managing content on various platforms like SharePoint.

  • Project Coordination: Assist in the planning and coordination of key projects across the team, such as health inequality and prevention strategies. You will work closely with project leads to track progress, ensure deadlines are met, and maintain accurate project documentation.
  • Data Management and Reporting: Collect, process, and analyse data related to ongoing projects. Support the preparation of reports, evaluations, and board papers, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Financial Administration: Manage procurement processes, including raising purchase orders, processing invoices, and monitoring budgets to support project needs.
  • Event Coordination: Organise and facilitate ICS-wide events, from booking venues to managing event logistics. You will also support the coordination of team meetings and engagement activities with internal and external stakeholders.
