Job summary
NHS Coventry and Warwickshire Integrated Care Board is seeking an Officer to join the children's team within a Joint Commissioning Team. Reporting to the Head of the Children and Young People's Transformation Programme you will be working on a range of children's health issues, including long-term conditions, universal 0-19 services, SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) and disabilities and supporting the general work of the children's team.

The post holder will contribute to the planning, coordination and monitoring of the children's work programmes including escalating risks, issues and concerns as identified by the team, and lead on discrete pieces of work, for example, consultation and co-production with children and young people, communications, promotions and data analysis. Additionally, you will provide administrative support to the team, managing meetings and papers, minute-taking, chasing actions and updates, performance monitoring and reporting, and submitting returns.

Main duties of the job
- To take a population health approach to children's work, liaising with colleagues in education, housing, environment, business, leisure, etc.
- To support the development of transformation and delivery plans for children and young people, focusing on physical health and SEND agendas
- To support the coordination of the children's work programmes which includes day-to-day project management duties
- To work closely with clinical and non-clinical staff
- To collect, collate, analyse and present detailed information relating to children and young people
- To assist in the communication of information to a diverse audience including clinicians, health and social care professionals, managers, patients and public, ensuring presentation of information is adapted to audience needs
- To provide reports, written and verbal, to relevant groups
- To maintain and respond to NHSE reporting processes to ensure all requested submissions and deadlines are met.
- To provide an administrative function to support meetings, agreeing agendas with Chairs, ensuring papers are received in a timely way for appropriate circulation taking minutes, sending out papers, maintaining action logs, chasing colleagues for updates and reports
- The post holder is an ambassador for the ICB/ICS so must be able to be professional at all times

Responsibilities for Information Resources
- Scope and identify what data, knowledge and intelligence is required to support transformation work, and then identify gaps in data, knowledge and intelligence
- Working closely with other ICB departments and partner organisations, discuss and propose solutions to fill in gaps so that transformation programmes are based on accurate and robust data and intelligence; identify what needs to change to acquire this data, e.g. care planning forms, assessment forms, etc and implications, eg cost implications, IT implications, etc.
- Consider data at all footprints, eg GP practice, Primary Care Network [PCN], district/borough, upper tier local authority, ICB/ICS
- Work with ICB colleagues and partners to collate and present data, highlighting variances and trends
- Use different programmes and information systems to contribute to producing reports and presentations in relation to services.
- To work closely with Programme Leads to ensure relevant information is provided to key stakeholders in a timely fashion
- Contribute to ensuring that all business cases and plans include relevant clinical evidence/research and best practice as a key information requirement.
- Remain appraised of the latest research and developments related to their individual work programmes and the programmes of the team
- Record and file information relating to individual patients / residents in the form of complaints, queries, Freedom of Information Requests etc. The majority of this information will be in electronic format, eg emails with document attachments
