Job summary
Please note: at this stage, the role is open only to colleagues currently employed within Kent and Medway NHS Trusts, the Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board (ICB) and Medway Community Healthcare. Nursing vacancies are also open to Student Nurses and Newly Qualified Nurses.
You will provide strategic, professional and clinical leadership for the Psychosexual Therapy Service across East Sussex, Kent and Medway.You will ensure delivery of a safe, high-quality, research-informed and responsive psychosexual therapy service aligned to COSRT standards, Trust governance frameworks and national sexual health priorities. You will act as the senior clinical authority for psychosexual therapy and provide strategic leadership for psychosexual provision within Sexual Health Services.
The role combines advanced specialist clinical expertise with system level service development, workforcestrategy and governance accountability.

Main duties of the job
You are accountable for:
- Strategic direction and transformation of the Psychosexual Therapy Service.
- Clinical governance and quality across all service provision.
- Delivery of complex, high-risk psychosexual casework.
- Workforce leadership, supervision frameworks and sustainability planning.
- Service redesign, pathway development and innovation.
- Budget management and resource allocation.
- Representation of psychosexual therapy at senior Trust and external forums.
You will operate autonomously at advanced specialist level and hold responsibility for complex clinicaldecision-making, service-wide risk oversight and professional standards.
