Job summary
Band 3 Physiotherapy Assistants, will work closely with all users of our services and their families, friends and carers, who all play an invaluable contribution in how our users experience our services. Band 3 Physiotherapy Assistants, are expected to bekind and responsive but professional and informative and contribute to the quality ofthe services provided within the community team across the health economy.
Main duties of the job
- To provide skilled and specific physiotherapy support to treat and promote the independence of patients with a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions.
- To carry out a programme of treatment prescribed by the Physiotherapists. This can include the supervision of patients individually, in the gymnasium or other group settings.
- To be responsible for housekeeping tasks including monitoring, maintaining and cleaning physiotherapy equipment and general tidiness of the department.
- Responsible for own documentation using Trust software andadministration tasks as required
- Ability to travel across the Trust in a timely manner if required
- This job is based between Sevenoaks Hospital and Tonbridge Cottage Hospital. You will also be required to work across additional sitesdependent on service need; The Churchill Centre, Aylesford and West View Integrated Care Centre, Tenterden. Therefore, driving is essential to the role
