Main duties of the job

What You'll DoLead and coordinate clinical development for Band 5 SLTs (pre- and post-preceptorship) across all localities, providingtutorials, coaching, joint sessions, and day-to-day support. This will involve travelling to different parts of east and westKent at times.

Work closely with team leads and managers to monitor progress and ensure high-quality supervision.

Support other SLTs in return-to-practice, international recruitment, or significant role changes.

Deliver training workshops for staff, including Band 4 competency development.

Balance development responsibilities with your own clinical caseload of adults with acquired swallowing and communication disorders in the Thanet Dover Deal locality.

Offer assessment clinics, group and individual therapy in outpatient, domiciliary, and care home settings.
