Job summary
We are recruiting for a Children's Support Worker.
You will be a core member of the Children's Home-Based Short Breaks team based at Capital House where you will be delivering care, both clinical and non-clinical to patients/ clients.
You'll also be key in supporting patients with their own self-care and independence.

- A Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) Level 3. This could be an NVQ Level 3 apprenticeship, BTEC or equivalent international qualification in healthcare
- You'll need to have recent experience of healthcare/ working as a health care assistant gained through education, work experience or previous employment
Knowledge and skills
Essential
- You'll need have sound communication skills to understand and communicate both verbally and in writing
- You may also have the Care Certificate, but if not, we will support you to achieve this within the first 3 months of starting
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills. IT skills
