Clinical Operations Manager

Job summary

This is an exciting secondment opportunity to lead on the clinical operational management of the Community Paediatricsservice for KCHFT. The ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge of the service including the clinicalassessments undertaken, national and local drivers and knowledge of national guidance in relation to neurodevelopmentalconditions.

Knowledge and experience with maintaining KPIs, waiting list management and demand and capacity planning will be required.

A job share may be possible for the right candidate(s) to support the continuation of clinical work.

Main duties of the job

The Clinical Operations Manager is responsible for effectively managing; leading and developing the service to ensurethat quality standards are maintained with performance managed against outcomes and agreed Key PerformanceIndicators (KPI's). They will look to continual development and improvement of the service, and seek to progress newservice and business opportunities, which positively impact on the service.The role will provide a lead in providing assurance in clinical outcomes and governance, service development andprojects. They will also work collaboratively with all senior managers across the service and division to support equitableand consistent core functions.
