There is an exciting opportunity to join KCHFT Storage Management Service and a chance to enjoy working ina vibrant and forward-thinking team.We are looking for 3 Store Assistants to join our busy team to support with vaccine storage and distribution,the packing of consumable items to support our Immunisation Service and also support with the manualhandling and support of other Trust wide programmes such as medical equipment replacement.We have the following hours available- 26.9 hours per week- 27.3 hours per week- 24.5 hours per weekThese posts are part time annualised hours contracts meaning that successful candidates will work full timehours during our busiest immunisation period (September - February) and reduced hours during other timesof the year. Salary will be paid pro-rata.Shifts are rostered across Monday - Saturday 6am-6pm with a short rolling shift on a Sunday 4pm - 6pmevery 6th Sunday. Saturday shifts will be rostered an average of one Saturday in 10.We are looking for people who are organised, have good attention to detail and able to complete manualhandling tasks. Main duties of the job
- Receiving vaccine deliveries into the store
- Maintaining vaccine cold chain in line with Trust policy and process
- Packing consumable items from a pre-determined list
- Manual handling of medical equipment
- Receiving consumables and vaccines back from sessions and storing in line with Trust policy and process
