Job summary

We are look for a an Associate Practitioner to join our Continence Product Delivery Team with flexible locations across Kent.

We are a specialist team that assess and process referrals for continence products. The team work closely with the home delivery contract product supplier and the Home Delivery Transport Team.

The Product Delivery team assess, authorise and process product requests that are received via referrals from the Continence/Bladder & Bowel Service, Community Nursing Teams, Residential & Nursing Homes and other professionals.

We would be happy to consider this post as a secondment opportunity, full time or part time for the right applicant.

Main duties of the job

In this post you will be supporting the provision of high-qualitybladder and bowel care for adults in Kent, mainly through the re-assessment of products processes for the product delivery service/Kentcontinence service

You'll also support the development of education initiatives that focus on improvement of outcomes of people with bladder and bowel dysfunction for patients and their families/carers

Additional Working Pattern: 0.8 X2, or potential other part time/ full time split. Secondment considered from community nursing. Hours will be across M-F 0800-1700

Essential

  • Evidence of Foundation Degree Level study (Level 5) Functional Skills at Level 2 (Literacy and numeracy/ GCSE grade A-C or equivalent in English and Maths)

Desirable

  • Mentorship / Coaching qualification

EXPERIENCE

Essential

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Senior Healthcare worker Experience of working as part of a team Experience with the use of Microsoft Office and a variety of IT packages (E-Pay / E-roster / AT-P / rio)
  • Continence experience

Desirable

  • Experience of community environment

KNOWLEDGE
