Job summary

We are looking for a Dental Engineer to maintain and repair a wide range of medical devices and equipment used throughout our Dental Services.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate must demonstrate a strong customer focus and commitment to delivering excellence. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring medical devicesand equipment are maintained and repaired to the required standard and undertake electrical safety and PAT testing of equipment. Patient safety, excellent customer service,communication and delivering a quality service are key attributes for this post.A Degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or Bio Medical Engineering or equivalent theoretical and practical experience is essential with post graduate engineeringexperience. Extensive experience in fault finding, repair and maintenance of complex electrical and mechanical devices is also required for the role as well as a full UK drivinglicense. Prior NHS or dental industry experience of working with medical devices and equipment is desirable.The post holder will be mobile and expected to travel; the main workshop is located in Faversham and a Trust vehicle will be provided.For further information about this vacancy, please telephone the Dental Engineering Manager, Angie Andrews on 07943 524130.
