Job summary

Do you want a new challenge working with a high performing team in a fast-paced health care environment?We have an exciting full-time opportunity for a Temporary Staffing Team Lead to join our team.

The Temporary Staffing team is an essential and integral part of the organisation, specialising and managing the organisation's temporary staffing needs. We aim to provide a reliable, cost-efficient and customer-driven service to alldirectorates by responding to requests for all temporary workers, clinical and administrative roles, to provide efficientand safe staffing levels for the provision of healthcare to the population of Kent and pockets of East Sussex and London.

The Temporary Staffing Lead will have direct management responsibility for the team of Advisors and Assistants who are the first point of contact for the Temporary Staffing Team. Leading by example, you will ensure that the team deliver aprofessional, efficient, responsive and proactive service at all times. Due to the nature of the service and often conflictingdemands and deadlines, you will need to be adept at coordinating your own workload, projects and the team's prioritiesin a busy work environment.

Main duties of the job

Your main responsibilities will include:

o Direct team management and coordination of telephone lines, email inboxes, Topdesk forms and urgent MS teams chatso Be a point of escalation for team querieso Understand and train the team in legacy and newly implemented processeso Monitor KPI's while considering and proposing areas for service development and improvemento Review and monitor compliance, recruitment, automation, invoicing and other key areas within the teamo Support pay queries for temporary bank and agency workers supporting KCHFTo Creating and updating SOPs specific to the role and service deliveryo Support the Temporary Staffing Office Manager and external teams with queries/tasks/processeso Have a complete understanding of temporary staffing and the impact of the service on other key stakeholders bothwithin KCHFT and external partners.
