If your answers are yes...KCHFT Community Dietetics (Adults) team are looking for an experienced Dietitian to work in our friendly team. We are the largest Community Dietetics team in the South East with a total of 35 clinicians including a team of supportive managers.

We already employ a team of fully virtual dietitians and the successful candidate will be supported and integrated into our team. Your virtual clinical work will be varied including providing advice for conditions such as IBS and low FODMaPs, coeliac disease, malnutrition, diabetes, weight management - and including virtual groups as well as 1 to 1 consultations. You will be mainly working via telephone calls - or video calls where clients prefer this more visual method of consultation.Our team are involved in exciting service developments and QI projects where your opinion and input would be welcomed and valued.

You will have the opportunity to remotely access a wide range of specialist colleagues for supervision and support. You may wish to develop your knowledge and clinical skills in an area of your choice including Gastroenterology, Diabetes, Weight Management and Nutrition Support led by our Gastroenterology dietitian, Obesity and Diabetes dietitian, Nutrition support /Prescribing Lead dietitian and Neuro dietitian.

Main duties of the job

Our team is supported by dietetic assistants and dietetic assistant practitioners and we would welcome your additional support in training our unregistered staff including dietetic apprenticeships and dietetic students.

Wellbeing is high on our service agenda. Our team Health and Wellbeing champions provide regular updates- from money saving tips to meditation sessions, the team actively feedback on wellbeing and what would improve their work-life balance.
