Job summary
We are looking for skilled Physiotherapist to join our West Kent Rehabilitation service based in Tonbridge.
You will work as a member of a multidisciplinary team providing a high-quality service to adults who have a wide range of physical, medical or developmental problems affecting their ability to achieve and maintain a level of independence and safety that allows them to remain in the community or return home following rehabilitation at a community hospital.
This includes people at risk of falling and those with orthopaedic, musculoskeletal and other rehabilitation needs who are unable to access outpatient services.
Main duties of the job
Working within a MDT, you will be assessing and treating patients with multiple comorbidities.
Your role will involve the complex discharge planning of patients with complex social needs, as well as complex moving and handling needs.
We have a great focus on the development of our teams so you will also be supporting junior staff and therapy assistants.
You will also provide support for colleagues across sites so a driving licence and a car will be an essential for this role.
