Job summary

We are looking for a motivated individual to work within our busy orthotics manufacturing department based at Discovery Park, Sandwich.

The B3 administrator will be responsible for handling the invoicing and invoicing related queries, both within KCHFT and externally to our private customers as well as the day to day supervision B2 administrative assistant/s.

The orthotics manufacturing team provide support to clinical teams across all localities, by producing high quality bespoke, semi-bespoke and off the shelf devices. This enables clinicians to provide high quality services, ensuring that the delivery of orthotic devices supports the needs of the Podiatry services.

Main duties of the job

In addition to the overall duties outlined in the Job Description, the administrative staff of the department are responsible for booking in orders, taking phone calls from patients and customers, speaking with potential new customers, dispatching orders and handling account queries.

You will ensure the team operates effectively by undertaking comprehensive administrative tasks, such as handling team correspondence, scheduling appointments, clinics and meetings, managing agendas,diary management for the team, task related problem solving, maintaining stock of equipment and supplies and completion of standard forms, surveys and audits.
