Personal Assistant to Assistant Director and Head of Service

Job summary

An exciting opportunity has opened up within the Community Hospital Service for a PA to the Assistant Director and Head of Service.You will need excellent organisational and negotiation skills. A background knowledge of the Health service would be a benefit but notessential.

This will be a busy role and would suit someone who is highly motivated, able to self-manage and problem solve. There may be times when you need to visit a hospital site, so you must be prepared for the different environments you may be asked to work from.

Main duties of the job

You'll be supporting the senior leadership of the service with duties such as:

  • Diary Management
  • Email Management
  • Meeting Agendas
  • HR Support
  • Minute Taking
  • Support on projects the team are leading on

You should be able to demonstrate excellent admin experience, be a skilled communicator in both written and verbal and act with confidentiality at all times.

  • Level 4 qualification (e.g. certificate of higher education, higher national certificate, NVQ level 4) or equivalent demonstrable experience
