We are looking for a Band 5 Specialist Podiatrist to work within Kent Community Health NHSFoundation TrustThe successful candidate will join one of the largest and forward-thinking Podiatry Departments inthe Country. This role is for a highly motivated and professional HCPC registered Podiatrist toprovide high quality podiatric care for patients with pathological foot conditions and thoseindividuals at risk of developing serious foot health complications.The post holder is required to have excellent clinical skills to deliver a range of Podiatrytreatments for patients in Kent.The Department embraces the use of new ways of working using virtual consultations, WoundMatrix and Rio for clinical documentation.The service is delivered in Community Clinics, Health Centres, GP surgeries, Acute and CommunityHospital Sites, Prisons and patient's own home. Main duties of the job

This role is for a highly motivated and professional HCPC registered podiatrist with graduateclinical experience to provide high quality podiatric care for patients with pathological footconditions and those individuals at risk of developing serious foot health complications.The post holder is required to have excellent diagnostic and clinical skills to deliver a range ofpodiatry treatments including biomechanical interventions and wound care for patients in Kent.The clinician will effectively record all patient interventions, offer support, advice and guidance toBand 5 podiatrists, podiatry assistants, students and administration staff wherever they areworking. The post holder must work effectively as part of the podiatry team/department and usegood communication skills at all times.This role will develop the clinician with the qualities required for treatment planning, assessment,diagnosis, implementation and evaluation of podiatric care to a variety of patients.Supporting personal and people development by engaging in own supervision and appraisalprocess, demonstrating commitment to continuous professional development

Post is based in 3 days in Ashford Team and 2 days in Canterbury Team

  • Completion of post-graduate 'induction' training Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
  • Diabetic Foot Module or willingness to successfully complete.
