Main duties of the job
Our health visiting teams provide support to families with children aged 0-5. You'll have a variedcaseload and you'll need to be confident and flexible to provide the best support for families.You'll work as part of a team to keep children safe and well in Maidstone. You will get to use yourclinical judgment to support evidence-based care planning and make sure that children and familieswho use our services have a good experience.Some of your duties will be:
- Developing integrated care programmes in partnership with senior practitioners and/or commissioners.Supporting in the supervision/ line management and development of all junior staff.
- Undertaking a range of competent clinical and non-clinical interventions to support the outcomes ofthe service.
- Acting as lead and senior practitioner to support junior staff support assessment/reassessments ofservice users and/or pathways with complex needs across the relevant field of health care.
- Supporting and making recommendations to senior managers in order to prioritise and focus effortsto achieve business objectives, service improvement strategies and statutory requirements.
