Job summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate trainer to join our mandatory training team.

We are a diverse education and development team that works along side our clinical services to deliver a wide range of training to support safe and effective patient care, and improve service delivery.

The role of Mandatory Training Facilitator is to provide high quality basic life support, moving and handling, and other clinical training that support service and organisational priorities. The training will equip our employees to deliver safe and effective care to our patients ensuring the requirements of the CQC, national frameworks, professional bodies and organisational policies are met.

Main duties of the job

As a Trainer you will be primarily responsible for the design and delivery of moving and handling, and a range of basic life support training.

You will take a support role in the provision of basic life support, moving and handling, , clinical skills, professional practice and expertise for staff, including creating and planning new programmes of training to meet clinical need and l risk, and organisational priorities

In addition, you willprovide professional leadership to staff with regard to assurance of competency.

The successful candidate will need to be able to travel to sites primarily in West Kent, East Sussex and North London, and transport the required trainingequipment.
