We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Administrator to join our team.
The Community Paediatrics Department in Kent Community Health Foundation Trust (KCHFT)is formed of two localities - North (Dartford, Gravesend and Swanley) and West Kent (Maidstone, Malling,Sevenoaks, Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells and Cranbrook). The Central referrals and appointments team accepts referrals Paediatric services including ASD, ADHD and other neurodevelopmental issues fromthe GP, Education (including special schools) and other health care providers.
The service contributes to safeguarding children/ child protection procedures and has Named Doctors for Safeguarding and for Looked after Children provided on time. Our administrators are expected to be kind andresponsive, professional and informative and to contribute to the quality of our services by demonstrating the behaviours detailed in the Trust 'CARE Values into Action Framework'.
Main duties of the job
As an Administrator you will facilitate the delivery of outstanding care by applying customer care principles when providing routine and complex information and guidance to patients, carers, relatives or colleagues, bothverbally and in writing.
You will act as a first point of contact for enquires by telephone, email and face to face, liaising with colleagues in other teams, services and directorates and assessing, resolving and escalating team issues.
In addition, you will ensure the team operates effectively by undertaking comprehensive administrative tasks, such as handling team correspondence, scheduling appointments, clinics and meetings, managingagendas, diary management for the team, task related problem solving, maintaining stock of equipment and supplies and completion of standard forms, surveys and audits.
