Job summary

We are seeking an aspirational medical leader passionate about delivering excellent patientcare. You will work closely with the Chief Medical Officer providing leadership to Doctors acrossthe Trust whilst, in partnership with the Deputy Chief Nurse, assuring that we are delivering ahigh-quality service to patients.You will be responsible for inspiring senior medical colleagues through strong leadership,ensuring our Trust values are embodied throughout the medical workforce with a focus on clinicalexcellence.

Main duties of the job

The exact portfolio will depend on the interests and experience of the applicant, but may include Responsible Officer role, oversight of the professional duties of the SAS Tutor, Lead Appraiser andDirector of Medical Education as well as supporting the Chief Medical Officer as a professionallead for the Clinical Directors across the medical and dental specialities.You will contribute to the development and implementation of a clinical leadership model toensure effective medical and dental leadership across the Trust and for clinical transformationwork within the Trust and wider system working.
