Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a Workforce, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Change Agent to join our team.

KCHFT are committed to achieving the best possible experience for all of our colleagues and our EDI team are key to ensuring we deliver this.

You will play a key role in supporting the Trust to deliver its Equity and Diversity Strategy. You will provide specialist advice and guidance on workforce equity and diversity issues, relevant equity/equality legislation and the EDI strands included in national NHS strategies including, but not limited to, the NHS long term plan and the NHS People Plan.

Main duties of the job

The successful post holder will contribute to the quality of the services we provide by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating situations and projects, identifying the correct solutions and interventions needed.

You will have the ability to synthesise information in order to present proposals effectively to decision makers (including Directors and Executives) in ways which facilitate their understanding and influence.

You will engage with people at all levels of the organisation on the equity, diversity and inclusion agenda to be a conduit to drive cultural change.

In addition, you will o develop and implement opportunities to improve participation and engagement of people from 'protected characteristic' groups - internally for instance through staff networks and across theworkforce.
