Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our cohesive and dynamic team working in Swale Minor Injury/Urgent Treatment Centres. Our unit covers two sites, Sittingbourne and Sheppey, and you will have the opportunity to work at both sites.
We see and treat patients with a range of injuries and some minor ailments, your role would be to support the registered practitioners.
This is a satisfying and sometimes challenging role.
Full or Part time hours will be considered.
If you have an NVQ Level 3 in Health Care, are kind, compassionate, an upstander and a strong team player and have the required essential skills, then this may be the job for you.

Main duties of the job
Your main responsibilities in this role include:
- Assisting patients,
- Recording observations,
- ECG recording,
- Documentation,
- Suturing,
- Plastering,
- Wound care,
- Ordering stock etc.
- In house training is provided for specialist skills.
