Main duties of the job

Our health visiting teams provide support to families with children aged 0-5. You will have a varied caseloadand need to be confident and flexible to provide the best support for families.You will work as part of a team to keep children safe and well in Maidstone. You will get to use your clinicaljudgment to support evidence-based care planning and make sure that children and families who use ourservices have a good experience.Some of your duties will be:Developing integrated care programmes in partnership with senior practitioners and/or commissioners.Supporting in the supervision/ line management and development of all junior staff.Undertaking a range of competent clinical and non-clinical interventions to support the outcomes of the service.Acting as lead and senior practitioner to support junior staff support assessment/reassessments of serviceusers and/or pathways with complex needs across the relevant field of health care.Supporting and making recommendations to senior managers in order to prioritise and focus efforts to achievebusiness objectives, service improvement strategies and statutory requirements.We are one of the largest healthcare providers in the country and we know how important it is to make surechildren and families are getting the right support and care.

Being a car owner/driver is essential, subject to the provisions of the Equality Act (2010), as visiting clientswithin their homes in a timely manner is a requirement of the role.
