Job summary

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Administrator to join the East KentChildren's Therapies team. The Children's Therapies service provides Speechand Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Care Co-ordination services to Children and Young People aged 0-19 years with a broadrange of needs.You will work as part of a clinical support team to facilitate the delivery of aneffective service. This will involve managing referrals, booking appointments andmanaging staff diaries, managing incoming emails and phone calls, usingMicrosoft Office systems and Rio our Electronic Patient Record system, takingminutes of meetings.You will also have the opportunity to influence service development and designthrough project-based activities, which will be supported by the clinical teams,service managers and Business Manager.The role will be primarily based at Green Banks in Margate but there areopportunities for hybrid working. You may also be asked to support the team atother bases within the East Kent locality at times if required.

Main duties of the job

  • You will complete all tasks required by the clinical team in a timely and efficient way. This will include prioritisation and flexibility.
  • You will ensure you are able to support and signpost patients, families and other key stakeholders to key information requested.
  • You will work with clinicians to co-ordinate and process a broad range of confidential information to support the service to deliver assessment andintervention.
