Robotic Process Automation DevelopersWe're on a journey to better automation in the NHS, helping our clinical teams spend more timewith their patients and less time filling forms.So, if you're fired up by software, keen on robotic processes and sold on solutions, you might bethe person to help us along the way.We're not just nurses and doctors in the NHS.Writing referral letters, processing job applications, and just doing the routine stuff shouldn't getin the way of great clinical care.That's where robotic process automation comes in. But we can't do it without great people tohelp us.As an RPA developer you will use process design documents to build automations that can help usto process data faster, ranging from simple to complex automations.You'll get all the training you need to progress from junior entry-level developer through to anexperienced RPA developer, building complex automations. If you've already got some experienceand expertise we'll fast-track you into a more senior role.We'll also have senior RPA developers within the team to support your journey, act as a rolemodel and mentor and be a point of expertise and advice.Bring your skills and be part of the UKs greatest asset; our NHS.

Main duties of the job

As an RPA Developer you will be responsible for the creation and design of automations based oninformation provided within the Process Design Documentation (PDD). The complexity of theprocesses allocated to you for automation will vary depending on your training, skills, experienceand banding. All RPA Developers will act as an ambassador and role model for other members of the team andare expected to be kind, responsive, professional and informative and to contribute to the qualityof our services by demonstrating the behaviours detailed in the Trust 'CARE Values into actionFramework'.

  • Band 4 - Foundation degree / NVQ Level 4. Band 5 - Batchelor's degree (BA (BSc) / NVQ level 5, ordinary degree or equivalent level of experience. Band 6 - Bachelor's degree (BA (BSc) / NVQ level 6, Ordinary degree or equivalent level of experience. Evidence of continuing professional development (2)

Desirable

  • Band 5 - RPA accreditation or evidence of RPA learning Evidence of continuing professional development. Band 6 - RPA accreditation Experience in - PHP, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node Working experience in system development and implementation projects (3)

Experience

  • Band 4 No previous RPA experience required. Experience of working with computers to a competent standard Experience of providing a high-quality service to customers Proven use of office systems, i.e. MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel. Band 5 As Band 4 + Previous experience of working within an IT service Sound judgement and logical approach to complex situations, with ability to determine and implement solutions.
