Job summary

We're at the start of an exciting journey to provide a specialist strokerehabilitation unit for people in east Kent.Based in Margate, the inpatient unit will provide intensive therapy for peopleaffected by stroke to allow them to get home safely and spend less time inhospital.

Main duties of the job

The ward will be nurse and therapy-led, with an emphasis on helping patients toreach personal goals.We've already recruited a team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists,speech and language therapists and dietitians to roles in the service.Now we need brilliant healthcare and rehabilitation assistants and qualifiednurses who can provide the outstanding care we expect for our patients.This isn't just another job. This ward will be at the forefront of providing the bestpossible care to help people recover from stroke and continue to live their life.With your help, more people will be able to lead fully-independent lives after astroke.For further information.
