We're looking for a HR Adviser to support our leaders to manage their teams effectively and compassionately. We work remotely with monthly face to face meetings at one of the Trust sites in Kent.

You'll need to be an expert in employment law and have experience of managing a case load. You'll have the confidence and skill to be able to take a coaching approach with the managers you support with expert advice on absence management, probation and capability. You'll be motivated by achieving your goals and targets and by helping achieve the team's collective ones and have previous experience of working in a HR Adviser role, or an equivalent role.

Main duties of the job

Get ready for variety in this role - no two days are ever the same. You'll be accountable for your own portfolio, ensuring that cases are dealt with in a timely way and expectations are met.

You'll need to be adaptable and resilient, with a logical approach and able to think creatively to identify innovative solutions to a variety of issues.

You'll get involved in strategic priorities relating to the services you are supporting and this will also include meeting our equality, diversity and inclusion objectives.

While previous NHS experience is not essential, you'll become an expert on relevant policies and develop a sound understanding of NHS terms and conditions.

Additional Working Pattern: 30 hours per week - must be able to work Wednesdays
