Community Podiatrist
We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated, forward thinking Podiatrists who are keen to develop their clinical skills within a friendly, supportive and innovative environment.
Wirral Community NHS Trust Podiatry service provides a comprehensive range of treatments ranging from routine clinical podiatry care to nail surgery and CAD/CAM custom made orthoses. We also provide specialist diabetes & orthopaedic podiatry services to patients in Wirral University Teaching Hospitals.
Main duties of the job
Working as a Community Podiatrist, you will be required to provide a range of high quality podiatric interventions in a variety of community clinical, GP and domiciliary settings throughout the Wirral peninsula.

You must possess a degree/diploma in Podiatry, a local anaesthesia certificate and be registered with the Health & Care Professions Council. You must also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
The position requires applicants to be able to work flexibly, therefore you must have access to your own transport for work purposes. This post provides an excellent opportunity for pro-active clinicians to consolidate their existing skills whilst developing new skills under the mentorship of experienced specialist podiatrists.
