We have exciting, substantive opportunities for a highly motivated Occupational Therapist with a patient-centred approach and a passion for rehabilitation to work within the Community Therapy, Bedded Care Therapy and Rapid Response services with an opportunity to be involved in therapy triage.
Main duties of the job
Our integrated, multi-disciplinary team provides community assessments and goal focused rehabilitation to support patients in our Pathway 2 bedded care facilities, patient's own homes and care homes.
You will have the opportunity to develop your skills of specialist therapy assessment and treatment in a community setting, alongside developing additional generic skills to provide a comprehensive assessment to a variety of complex patients.
As part of the role there will be a need for travel across the High Peak and the surrounding area, therefore access to a vehicle is essential.As a clinical employee it will be your responsibility to ensure that your behaviour and values reflect those set out in the DCHS Way.
