Job summary
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Band 7 District Nurse to join our Rapid Response Service in Chesterfield and North East Derbyshire. You will work closely as an integrated team, managing and supporting senior nurses, staff nurses, nurse associates to deliver high quality urgent nursing care across the varied and vibrant demographic population.
This is an ideal opportunity for a newly qualified or experienced District Nurse with a passion for community nursing and a wealth of community experience. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent clinical skills and have a desire to use your leadership skills in a supportive environment.

Main duties of the job
The main duties of this job are 50% Leadership/teaching and 50% Clinical. This is a developing post within our locality. The initial role will be to provide clinical and management support to the current Senior Nurses in our teams with the potential for line management of Senior Nurses and overall management of a specific team.

- Comprehensive understanding of national and local policy in relation to community health services.
