Job summary

We are looking for a highly motivated Domestic assistant

To provide a high-quality, domestic service to the Hospital , working either individually or as part of a team ensuring a clean and safe environment is maintained for patient staff and visitors. "Experience desirable but not essential as full training will be given".

Following agreed work schedules methods and procedures in accordance with the national standards of cleanliness.

This post is based at Ilkeston Community hospital However, the post holder will be required to have a flexible approach and be prepared to work on other sites, should service demands dictate.

Main duties of the job

Working along side highly skilled team of domestics, following DCHS policies and procedures.

Duties will include cleaning of clinical and none clinical areas, this will also include kitchen and sanitary areas following cleaning schedules under the supervision of the domestic supervisor.
