The Community Access Point Call Centre is looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated person to join the Call Handling Team.
The Call Centre processes a large variety of telephone calls and electronic referrals for patients who require a home visit from community staff within Derbyshire and wider areas.
The right candidate should have excellent communication, organisational and IT skills, and able to work in an office environment working alongside a cohesive and dedicated Call Handling Team.
Some of the views of the Call Handling Team carrying out this rewarding role are that "the Team meet and exceed patient's needs, expectations and requirements. Support and communicate with callers with efficiency, understanding, empathy and respect.
We are a high performance, fast-paced, high-energy patient focused Team. We have a diverse Team who are caring and supportive of each other and are looking for a vibrant, friendly and focused team member to "maintain our greatness and build on the services we provide".
Main duties of the job
To respond and co-ordinate calls and electronic referrals from the general public, healthcare professionals and other agencies nationally.
Ensuring timely and accurate passage of information to Community Services via the Community Access Point Call Centre using Systm1 and other computerised systems, ie Microsoft Excel.
Although previous call centre experience would be beneficial, full in-house training will be provided to support the successful applicant in fulfilling this role.
We are currently working as a hybrid model so staff have the option to flexibly work either in the office base or at home, but with the requirement to come in to the office base for meetings/training, etc, when necessary.
