About us

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Learning Disability Nurse to join the LD CAMHS service in Norfolk. Starfish and Starfish Plus provide specialist support for children with learning disabilities and mental health needs, and this role works closely across both teams. We offer comprehensive assessments and interventions to help young people remain safely at home, avoid inpatient admissions, and lead fulfilling lives.

You will work directly with children, young people and their families across homes, schools and community settings, alongside psychologists, speech and language therapists and family support workers. Our values-driven approach centres on every young person's right to a safe and meaningful life, and Learning Disability Nurses play a vital role in our team.

We are looking for a flexible, compassionate nurse with experience supporting children with learning disabilities and mental health needs, including those whose challenges are described as "behaviour." Strong values, family-focused practice and a collaborative approach are essential.

Starfish Plus is delighted to recruit to this role and strengthen our multidisciplinary offer. Informal conversations prior to application are warmly welcomed.
