Job summary

An exciting, brand-new opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, dynamic and motivated Band 4 Occupational Therapy Rehabilitation Assistant Practitioner to join the team at the Colman Centre for Specialist Rehabilitation Services within Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust. • The role includes working with patients and their families, under the direction of qualified therapists.
  • The needs of this patient group demand physical and mental resilience, and a need to engage in manual handling activities, personal hygiene care tasks, and to work with people who have challenging behaviours.
  • The role includes indirect tasks which support the patient's care and therapy needs, such as administration tasks and management of equipment.
  • The role is based in the inpatient but will involve driving.
  • Able to cover a 7-day rota to meet the needs of the service.
