Job summary
We are looking for a highly motivated Clinical Support Worker to join our children's team based at Norwich Community Hospital.
This main duties of this role will involve taking measurements of children when they arrive for their appointments at the centre, alongside covering the children's centre reception and assisting with stock management for our children's community nursing team.
Main duties of the job
Facilitate the efficient running of the Children's Centre by supporting the day-to-day running of clinics, performing clinical duties during a pre-clinic, maintaining the equipment, managing stock levels, and performing infection control procedures.
To support the children's clinical teams with the ordering of products, stock management, cleaning medical equipment and cupboard rotation to contribute to an effective and efficient children's nursing service.
Under the direction of the Community Paediatrician or Registered Nurse, work with all members of the multidisciplinary team, to contribute to the provision of the highest standards of patient care.
With the support of a colleague in the same role, you will provide cover to the children's reception area. Greeting children and their families to the children's centre ahead of their appointment, directing them to use the check in screen and being available to answer any queries during their time at the children's centre, to contribute to the efficient running of the children's clinics.
