Job summary
We are seeking a motivated and values-driven Administration Operations Lead to oversee our large and diverse administrative workforce across the Trust. With over 160 staff supporting a wide range of clinical services, this is a pivotal leadership role that ensures the smooth and effective running of administrative functions.
You will have overall responsibility for the operational delivery and development of administration services, including staff management, performance, and quality improvement. Working collaboratively with clinical teams, operational leads and other key stakeholders, you'll help shape and align administrative services in response to evolving organisational needs.
This role requires a confident and compassionate leader who can drive positive change, build strong relationships, advocate for their teams, and take a fair and balanced approach to decision-making. Experience of leading through change, managing budgets, and quality improvement will be essential.
Main duties of the job
The Administration Operations Lead oversees a large administrative workforce supporting a range of clinical services across the Trust. The post-holder will be responsible for the effective delivery and continuous improvement of administrative functions.
You will lead on workforce planning, staff performance, and service development, working closely with the Deputy Admin Operations Manager and Service Managers. A key part of the role is driving change and improvement.
The post-holder will manage the service budget, identify efficiency opportunities, and ensure resources are used effectively and safely. You will engage with internal and external stakeholders, representing the admin function and advising on the impact of service change.
You will use data to monitor performance, produce reports and business cases, and support governance, complaints, and risk processes. Developing the admin workforce and promoting a culture of fairness, inclusion, and collaboration will be central to your leadership approach.
