Job summary
The Paediatric Nurse Advisor will work as part of the children's nursing team to provide holistic review of care needs, nursing interventions, training, education and support to children, young people and their families and carers in 8 identified special educational needs schools within Norfolk and the wider community including , early years provision, respite, community care and in patient's or link families homes.
Main duties of the job
To support and train parents/carers/employees of other organisations such as educational settings, to undertake a range of clinical interventions specific to each child/young person's needs

The Paediatric Nurse Advisor service provides a key contact and resource for each of the Complex Needs Schools in Norfolk working closely with the Childrens Community Nursing Team and wider multidisciplinary services.
The role includes:
Providing advice and training for families and school staff and supporting children with complex health needs and disabilities within the school setting on an individual basis.
